Google検索もマイクロソフトのBingのようにAI Chatbot機能を搭載。基本的にAI Chatbotはこれまでの検索エンジンに変わるもの、と考えるのが適切に思う。もっとも、これを表に出さないでそっと検索エンジンの結果として出すこともできると思うが、それは処理に負荷がかかるためだろうか？それとも、どうしてもハルシネーションといったLLMのミスが出てしまうからかもしれない。記事にあるように、ChatGPTなどが既にGoogle検索に変わるものとして使われている現実から、自らChatBotを提供する必要があったというのが大きな理由か。
