EU圏などではiPhoneのLightningケーブル版であるiPhone SE３などの販売が終了したというニュースが年末にあった。つまり、SE4の登場が必須という状態。
今年、2025年の1月には新しいiPhone SEであるSE４が登場することだろう。
噂レベルでは今のiPhoneは全て128 GB以上の容量になるということなので、その分、値上がりする（1万円）のは仕方がない。
しかし、SEシリーズは毎年アップデートしないのでAppleintelligence対応してくるだろうから、明らかに今年買うのはお得ということになる。
早く販売を開始して欲しいところだ。
日本ではiPhone 16を分割払いで買うと、2年後に端末を返却することで実質数万円で２年間使うことができる。そのため、買取利したいというニーズには格安のSEモデルの存在は重要だ。
